About DLC

About the Facility

The DLC is located in the Hicks Undergraduate Library (HIKS B853). This cutting-edge facility provides students the opportunity to utilize workstations for accessing electronic resources, scanning documents, capturing images, 3-D development & rendering, web development, as well as editing and compressing digital video and audio. Apart from a large multimedia development area, the DLC features a wireless instructional area, equipment checkout, and collaboration rooms. The checkout equipment includes laptops, digital cameras, digital camcorders, tripods, and external firewire hard drives.

The images above are taken in our customizable Instructional Space. The tables have wheels and can be moved according to the teaching style of the instructor and the learning needs of the students. 30 wireless laptops with wireless capability can also be used in this highly customizable space.
